If I Had A Million Dollars...

I am really good at appreciating life. I have a body capable of hard work and a mind strong enough to push the limits of those capabilities. I pay attention and I learn something new everyday. I constantly wonder how to make things better for tomorrow and times to come. I do not get caught up in the “now.” I am wise enough to know when to talk and when to listen. I live every day in the pursuit of happiness, knowing that I am happiest pursuing happiness. I dream. I am the American Dream.

The WillPower studio will open in a few short months and it’s going to be very successful. I’ll reach hundreds, and eventually thousands of people; which will create wealth. I will have a million dollars. But that is not why I do what I do.

I heard someone say once in an interview, “If you live your life to genuinely help other people, you will be successful.” I cannot remember who said it, but it has stuck with me since college. I am a trainer because I’m great at it. I’m great at it because I love seeing people become greater versions of themselves. And when people improve themselves, they improve the world around them; which is the same world I live in. It is the same world my wife and son live in. My heart is full knowing that in some small way, I’m making the world a better place.

In an effort to save money, Abby, our son (Braylen), and I moved in with her parents (who are kind enough to help us facilitate our dreams). We’re living minimally, with most of our things in storage. I’m training in the mornings while Abby takes care of Braylen. The money I make all goes to bills.

I woke up early last Sunday morning, and I looked at my beautiful wife, still asleep. Our son was sleeping awkwardly between us. The clearest thought came to mind, “If I had a million dollars, I wouldn’t be any happier than I am right now.”
